I thought I knew who I was until I met her.
Every story has a hero, in this one - her name is Alora.
It was New Year's Eve and as midnight approached, I sat on my porch and watched a thunderstorm rip through the sky like nothing I had ever seen before.

It was intense, powerful, mystical, and irresistibly moving. It was one of those 'marvel at nature' moments that leave a mark you cannot easily forget. As I witnessed lightning strike the sky with unpredictable patterns and felt thunder rumble through the ground and into my body - I couldn't help but sense that something big was about to happen... a major year was in store for sure.

A few hours later, I conceived my unexpected daughter. A miracle that would transform me into a version of myself I had no idea existed and reveal a version of life I could only have grasped at my imagination to envision.
I became a mother.
It's been two years since I gave birth to my moon child, Aletheia Ora. Motherhood has introduced me to a deeper meaning that now guides every fragment of my life along with the desires I devote myself to in-service of the future of her world and our lineage.

I feel beholden to the home we leave to our children, the land, the love, the legacies. The way of life they inherit.
I birthed this brand, Alora, as a pathway to connect with a community of mothers who share the same hope, faith, and devotion to the revolution that will shift humanity into harmony with our earth mother.
I feel most like myself when I am setting free my inner artist. A poetess at heart, a Leo to the stars, and a lover of slow, sovereign living where all naturally unfolds in its own timing and individuality.
Alora is my dedication to the sacred art of primal parenthood, from non-toxic baby essentials to the radical personal shifts and transformations that allow us to embody our instinctual potential.
This is the journey to becoming deeply present, fulfilled, and purposeful role models who are led by love and in tune with the rhythms of our soul, ourselves, and our children.
My name is Calista and I am the author of Alora. A brand designer by trade who decided to stop bringing everyone else's dreams to life and spend some time working on my own. I'm a mother to one toddler, two dogs, two businesses, many plants, and countless verses.
I started seeking a partnership that was aligned with my values and business mission. When I stumbled upon a fellow mompreneur named Anjali who owned Malabar Baby, I knew it was a perfect match.
I chose Malabar Baby because of their natural approach to baby essentials from organic cotton to their handcrafted manufacturing process. The Malabar Baby range is a true work of art with most products hand-block printed and made in bespoke high-quality, slowly-made, small batches.

Each product has a personal artisanal touch, a soulful story, and a sustainable mission.

From fair trade to fabric choices, I feel aligned with Anjali's style of leadership, business, and production.
